Based on a famous Chinese story, this period drama stars Ivy Ling Po and Li Ching, a beloved on-screen couple even though both are female -Ling Po is renowned for playing male Cantonese opera roles. While visiting a temple, a young scholar is enchanted by the daughter of an important family. When rebels threaten to abduct the girl, the scholar, with the assistance of a clever maid, try to save her.
