Worldwide horror film fans are in for a revelatory treat, because no one makes them like Shaws. Ric Meyers, author of the best-selling book For One Week Only: The World Of Exploitation Films, called them "No Orifice Goes Unstabbed Flicks" and this is one of the best. Veteran director Yang Chuan ladles on the maggots while writer Cheng Tan-shui devises one "peculiar circumstance" and "bizarre accident" after another until gorehounds will be giddy with joy.
