In "The Sexy Killer", provocative Chen Ping does a woman's lib. version of Pam Grier's exploitation films by breaking out of her shell and taking the law into her own hands. Traditionally, Chinese women are supposed to accept tragedy with quietness, but Chen dismissed that myth saying that it was okay to rise up and speak for themselves as she takes on the corrupt cops and sleazy drug dealers who gave her sister the sickness.

Muchas gracias a Reader y a Ortzon por aproximarnos a ella. Bueno pues siguiendo con este Infocus Actrices de acción en la Shaw Brothers (http://www.allzine.org/Foro/index.php?topic=31691.0) me he decidio a verla, en ésta tenía un especial interés, pues cae presente en un período del cine de Hong Kong que me despertaba curiosidad, hace un tiempo lo estuve comentando por aquí (http://www.allzine.org/Foro/index.php?topic=7024.msg366016#msg366016), y ya apuntó Silien hacia la retrospectiva Bang Bang Shaw [Género] (http://www.allzine.org/Foro/index.php?topic=18507) que también tocaba esta misma película (no es que me hubiera olvidado del tema, lo tengo bien presente). Y bueno al final gracias tambien a Alikuekano se ha juntado todo y he podido visionar este film, personalmente me ha encantado, con unas escenas de acción que me han parecido muy bien llevadas, los detalles, decorados etc. también logran el clima propicio, todo ello además acompañado de una buena banda sonora y dirección. Otra que va a mi lista de favoritas.
